A creamy and tangy dessert that captures the flavors of key lime pie in ice cream form, perfect for warm weather.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup key lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Graham cracker crumbs
  • Lime slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. Pour 2 cups of heavy cream into a large mixing bowl.
  2. Beat the cream until soft peaks form.
  3. Add 1 cup of sweetened condensed milk, mixing slowly.
  4. Measure out 1/2 cup of key lime juice and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, stirring those in.
  5. Finish with 1/2 teaspoon of salt, whisking until smooth.
  6. Pour the mixture into the ice cream maker and follow instructions.
  7. Churn until it reaches soft-serve consistency.
  8. Transfer to an airtight container and freeze for at least four hours.
  9. Serve with graham cracker crumbs and a lime slice on top.
