This easy and satisfying Garlic Butter & Beef Tortellini combines rich garlic, savory beef, and tender cheese-filled pasta for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 tablespoons of butter
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 pound of ground beef
  • 1 package (9 oz) of cheese tortellini
  • 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan
  • 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning
  • Optional: red pepper flakes
  • Optional: garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and add the cheese tortellini. Cook according to the package directions for the perfect al dente texture. Once cooked, drain the tortellini and set it aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat over medium heat and add the ground beef. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook until the beef is browned and cooked through, stirring occasionally. Drain any excess grease.
  3. Lower the heat slightly and add the butter to the skillet with the cooked beef. Allow the butter to melt before stirring in the minced garlic. Cook for another 1 to 2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add the cooked tortellini back to the skillet. Gently toss to coat.
  5. Finish by sprinkling with grated Parmesan and optional red pepper flakes. Serve warm.

Notes

Consider adding sautéed mushrooms or spinach for additional flavor and nutrients. For a creamier texture, add a splash of heavy cream.
