Garlic Butter Steak Bites Served with Creamy Parmesan Pasta Shells

Juicy steak bites enveloped in rich garlic butter served with velvety pasta shells in a creamy Parmesan sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ribeye or sirloin steak, cut into tender, bite-sized cubes
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and freshly cracked pepper, to taste
  • 8 oz pasta shells
  • 2 tablespoons butter for creamy sauce
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the bite-sized steak cubes with salt and freshly cracked pepper.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat until melted.
  3. Add the seasoned steak cubes to the skillet and sear for 4-5 minutes until browned.
  4. Mix in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  5. Reduce the heat to low and add the remaining tablespoon of butter to the skillet.
  6. Swirl the skillet to coat the steak bites in garlic butter and sprinkle with parsley.
  7. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta shells according to package instructions.
  8. Reserve 1/4 cup of cooking water, then drain the pasta and set aside.
  9. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat and add chicken broth.
  10. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until melted into a creamy sauce.
  11. Season the sauce with salt and pepper, then toss the pasta shells to coat.
  12. Serve topped with fresh parsley.

Notes

Start with room temperature steak for better searing. Taste and adjust seasoning throughout cooking.
