  • 950 ml Vanilla Ice Cream
  • 60 g Cornflakes, Crushed
  • 6 g Ground Cinnamon
  • 25 g Granulated Sugar
  • 950 ml Vegetable Oil
  • Whipped Cream
  • Chocolate Syrup
  • Maraschino Cherries

Instructions

  1. Scoop vanilla ice cream into balls and freeze them for at least 2 hours.
  2. In a shallow dish, mix crushed cornflakes, cinnamon, and granulated sugar together.
  3. Once the ice cream balls are frozen, roll each one in the cornflake mixture.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or heavy saucepan to 190°C (375°F).
  5. Gently fry the coated ice cream balls in batches for 15 to 30 seconds.
  6. Using a slotted spoon, drain excess oil on paper towels.
  7. Serve the fried ice cream warm, topped with whipped cream, chocolate syrup, and a maraschino cherry.
