  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 cup green or Kalamata olives

Instructions

  1. Begin by arranging the sliced tomatoes in a circle on a large plate.
  2. Layer the cubed feta cheese over the tomatoes.
  3. Nestle the rings of red onion over the feta.
  4. Sprinkle freshly chopped parsley on top.
  5. Drizzle the extra virgin olive oil over the layers.
  6. Sprinkle dried oregano and black pepper over the top.
  7. Add the crushed red pepper flakes if desired.
  8. Crown the salad with olives.
  9. Serve immediately for the best flavor.
