An explosion of textures and flavors, these Sweet Chili Halloumi Wraps combine creamy halloumi cheese with fresh vegetables, all wrapped in a warm tortilla and drizzled with sweet chili sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz halloumi cheese
  • 24 tortilla wraps
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 cucumber
  • ½ red onion
  • 12 lettuce leaves
  • 3 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Optional toppings: Avocado, fresh herbs (cilantro, parsley), pickled vegetables

Instructions

  1. Slice the halloumi cheese into ½-inch thick pieces. Heat a skillet over medium heat and drizzle in the olive oil. Gently fry the halloumi slices for about 2–3 minutes on each side until golden-brown. Remove and set aside.
  2. Slice the red bell pepper into thin strips. Slice the red onion and julienne the cucumber into thin matchstick pieces. Tear the lettuce leaves into large pieces.
  3. Lay out the tortilla wraps and spread a generous amount of sweet chili sauce over each. Begin layering with the crispy halloumi slices followed by the vegetable slices.
  4. Fold the bottom edge over the filling, tuck in the sides, and roll tightly from the bottom up.
  5. Toast the wrapped tortillas in the skillet for a slight crunch, if desired.
  6. Slice the wraps in half, serve immediately, and drizzle with extra sweet chili sauce for flavor.

Notes

Don’t rush the frying process for a perfect golden crust. Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor, and feel free to experiment with toppings.
