  • ½ teaspoon chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • ¼ cup red bell pepper, diced
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup milk or half & half
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon chili oil (optional)
  • 1 ramen noodle block

Instructions

  1. Begin by seasoning the shrimp with paprika, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper.

  3. Remove the shrimp and set aside.
  4. Brown the sliced jalapeño cheddar sausages in the same skillet and set aside.
  5. Melt the butter in a large pot, then add minced garlic, diced onion, and red bell pepper. Sauté until fragrant.
  6. Pour in the chicken broth and soy sauce, allowing it to simmer.
  7. Stir in the milk, cream cheese, and shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
  8. Add the ramen noodles to the pot and cook until tender.
  9. Return the sautéed shrimp and sausages to the pot and mix well.
  10. Serve hot in bowls, garnished with halved soft-boiled eggs, fresh jalapeño slices, and chopped green onions.
