A delightful blend of creamy ricotta, zesty marinara, and tender ravioli, baked to perfection for a comforting family meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 package frozen cheese ravioli
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish with a light buttery layer.
  2. Cook the ground beef and diced onion together in a large skillet over medium heat until browned.
  3. Stir in the marinara sauce and Italian seasoning, letting it simmer until bubbling gently.
  4. Spread a layer of the marinara mixture across the bottom of your greased baking dish.
  5. Place a layer of frozen cheese ravioli atop the sauce.
  6. Dollop spoonfuls of ricotta cheese, followed by shredded mozzarella.
  7. Repeat the layers until you reach the top of your baking dish.
  8. Finish with a layer of marinara sauce and a sprinkle of parmesan.
  9. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  10. Uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes until bubbling and cheese is melted.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute lean ground turkey or plant-based meat. Incorporate vegetables for added nutrition.
