Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 1/4 cup orange gelatin (Jell-O)
  • 1 teaspoon orange extract

Instructions

  1. Combine the graham cracker crumbs and sugar in a mixing bowl. Stir in the melted butter until well coated. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan and chill for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until fluffy.
  3. Whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then gently fold it into the cream cheese mixture.
  4. Fold in the orange juice, orange zest, orange gelatin, and orange extract until combined.
  5. Pour the mixture over the chilled crust, smooth the top, cover, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  6. Carefully remove the cheesecake from the pan when ready to serve and garnish with additional orange zest or whipped cream.

Notes

Ensure cream cheese is softened to avoid lumps. Do not over-whip the heavy cream.
