  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Orange fondant or icing for petals

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two 9-inch round cake pans.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, milk, melted butter, and orange sherbet. Beat on medium speed until smooth, about 2 minutes.
  3. Pour the orange batter evenly into the prepared pans.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

  8. Top with the second layer and frost the entire cake with whipped cream.
  9. Roll out orange fondant, cut out petals for daisies, and use yellow fondant for centers.
  10. Pipe green icing for leaves around the flowers.
  11. Slice and serve chilled, enjoying every delicious bite!

Notes

For best results, chill mixing bowl before whipping cream. You can customize decorations and even add chocolate chips to the batter for variation.
