A delightful Pan-Fried Flatbread featuring vibrant green onions and spinach, perfect for family meals and gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ cup chopped green onions
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine the all-purpose flour, salt, and baking powder in a large bowl.
  2. Add the warm water and olive oil gradually to form a dough.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Cover the dough and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  5. Heat a pan over medium heat and prepare the filling with green onions, spinach, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  6. Divide the dough into small golf ball-sized portions.
  7. Roll each portion into a flat circle, around 6 inches in diameter.
  8. Sprinkle the filling evenly on top of each circle.
  9. Fold the dough over the filling and roll it out again to seal it.
  10. Cook the filled flatbreads for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  11. Brush with melted butter and serve immediately.
