Delightful donuts that blend sweet, creamy, and fruity flavors reminiscent of summer picnics.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup canned peach pie filling
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your donut pan.
  2. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl.
  3. Whisk together milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla in a separate bowl.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mix and stir gently until just combined.
  5. Add cinnamon and fold in the canned peach pie filling carefully.
  6. Spoon the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each well about two-thirds full.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool the donuts in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  9. Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth for the glaze.
  10. Dip the tops of the cooled donuts into the cheesecake glaze and enjoy.

Notes

For best results, use room temperature ingredients. Feel free to experiment with different fruit fillings or toppings.
