  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 packages (8 oz each) Philadelphia cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup of granulated sugar, and melted unsalted butter. Mix until crumbly and press into the bottom of the pan. Bake for 10 minutes and let cool.
  3. Beat the softened Philadelphia cream cheese and 1 cup of granulated sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well. Stir in vanilla extract and sour cream until combined.
  4. Pour the cream cheese filling over the cooled crust, smooth the top, and bake for 55-60 minutes until set.
  5. Allow the cheesecake to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  6. Top with cherry pie filling before serving.
