Indulgent brownies layered with creamy pistachio cheesecake and topped with crunchy pistachios, creating a delightful dessert experience.

  • 1 box of brownie mix (or homemade brownie batter)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup pistachio butter or ground pistachios
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup chopped pistachios for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking pan by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
  2. Combine the brownie mix, melted butter, water, and egg in a mixing bowl, stirring until smooth.
  3. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
  4. Create the cheesecake mixture by beating together softened cream cheese, pistachio butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a separate bowl.
  5. Spoon the cheesecake layer over the brownie batter and gently swirl the two together with a knife or toothpick.
  6. Sprinkle the chopped pistachios on top of the cheesecake layer.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
  8. Allow to cool completely in the pan before slicing into squares for serving.

Notes

Ensure cream cheese is softened for a smooth cheesecake layer. Don’t rush the marbling for better visual appeal.
