A decadent San Sebastian Cheesecake with a beautifully burnt top and creamy interior, perfect for gatherings or indulging yourself.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cream cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. In a bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add heavy cream and mix until combined.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Mix in vanilla extract, flour, and salt until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared springform pan.
  7. Bake for 40-50 minutes until the top is dark brown and the center is slightly jiggly.
  8. Allow to cool in the pan for at least 2 hours, then refrigerate for a minimum of 4 hours before serving.
