Delightful flaky pastries filled with a savory sausage and cream cheese mixture, perfect for brunch or gatherings.

  • 1 can of crescent roll dough (8 count)
  • 1/2 lb breakfast sausage (mild or spicy)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cook the breakfast sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned, approximately 5-7 minutes.
  3. Combine the cooked sausage with softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, garlic powder, onion powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
  4. Unroll the crescent dough and separate the triangles. Place a heaping spoonful of filling on the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Roll the dough from the wide end to the pointy end, shaping it into a crescent.
  6. Place the crescents seam side down on the baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Cool slightly before serving.
