A rich and comforting soup that transforms the classic chicken Parmesan into a creamy delight, perfect for busy weeknights.

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
  • Cooked pasta or crusty bread for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine the boneless chicken breasts, chicken broth, and marinara sauce in the crockpot.
  2. Sprinkle Italian seasoning and garlic powder over the mixture; add salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  4. Remove the cooked chicken, shred it with two forks, and return it to the pot.
  5. Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and mozzarella cheese until melted.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil and alongside cooked pasta or crusty bread.

Notes
