A delightful blend of sweet and spicy flavors with tender chicken coated in a rich, aromatic sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sriracha sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 cup steamed broccoli
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the skillet and cook for 6-7 minutes per side until golden-brown and cooked through.
  4. While the chicken cooks, prepare your honey ginger sauce by whisking together honey, ginger, garlic, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sriracha, and sesame oil in a bowl.
  5. Remove the golden chicken from the skillet and pour the honey ginger sauce into the hot pan.
  6. Let the sauce bubble and thicken for 3-4 minutes while you slice the cooked chicken into strips.
  7. Assemble your bowls with a base of fluffy rice, topped with steamed broccoli, crunchy carrots, and sliced chicken.
  8. Drizzle the remaining sauce generously over the top and sprinkle sesame seeds for that extra flair.
  9. Garnish your bowls with fresh cilantro to add a burst of color and freshness.

Notes
