  • 8 oz (225g) dried or fresh ramen noodles
  • 2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • 1-inch piece grated ginger
  • 1/2 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 carrot, julienned

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the ramen noodles according to the package instructions. Once cooked, drain and set aside.
  2. Whisk together gochujang, soy sauce, and sesame oil in a bowl until smooth. Add thinly sliced beef and marinate for at least 15 minutes.

  4. Add the sliced onion, cooking until translucent and soft, around 3-4 minutes.
  5. Cook the marinated beef until browned and cooked through, approximately 3-4 minutes.
  6. Stir in the red bell pepper and julienned carrot, cooking until tender.
  7. Add the cooked ramen noodles and toss everything together to coat in the sauce.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

Slice the beef thinly against the grain for tenderness and adjust the spice level of the gochujang to personal preference.
