Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz (225g) beef sirloin or ribeye
  • 8 oz (225g) dried or fresh ramen noodles
  • 2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • 1-inch piece grated ginger
  • 1/2 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the ramen noodles according to the package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the gochujang, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Add beef and marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add garlic and ginger, sauté until fragrant.
  4. Add the sliced onion and cook until translucent.
  5. Add the marinated beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Stir in the bell pepper and carrot, cooking until just tender.
  7. Add the cooked ramen noodles, tossing to coat with sauce.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

Adjust the amount of gochujang to suit your heat tolerance. Marinating longer can enhance flavors.
