Steak & Shrimp Stir-Fried Noodles

A delightful and satisfying meal combining tender steak and succulent shrimp with perfectly cooked noodles for a quick and flavorful dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or flank steak), thinly sliced
  • 1/2 lb shrimp, fresh, peeled, and deveined
  • 8 oz noodles (rice noodles or lo mein noodles)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-inch piece of ginger, grated
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sliced steak and brown it for 3-4 minutes on both sides, then remove and keep warm.
  3. In the same skillet, toss in the shrimp and sauté for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.
  4. Add another tablespoon of oil, then the onion and bell pepper, along with garlic and ginger. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until tender.
  5. Integrate the cooked noodles, soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil. Toss to coat.
  6. Mix in the steak and shrimp, stir-frying for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  7. Season with salt and pepper, garnish with green onions and sesame seeds, and serve hot.

Notes

Prep ingredients in advance to streamline cooking time. Use medium-high heat for the best results.
