A tropical beverage that combines fresh strawberries and pineapple with a light and airy Malibu frosting, making it perfect for summer gatherings.

  • 2 oz Malibu rum
  • 1 oz coconut cream
  • 6 oz fresh pineapple juice
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries (ripe and sweet)
  • 1/2 cup crushed ice
  • Whipped cream (for frosting)
  • 1 oz Malibu rum (for frosting)
  • Fresh strawberries (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the 2 oz Malibu rum, 1 oz coconut cream, 6 oz fresh pineapple juice, 1 cup fresh strawberries, and 1/2 cup crushed ice.
  2. Blend the mixture until it reaches a smooth and creamy consistency—about 30 seconds to a minute.
  3. Pour the Strawberry Piña Colada mixture into a chilled glass.
  4. Whip the whipped cream in a bowl until soft peaks begin to form.
  5. Fold in 1 oz of Malibu rum into the whipped cream and continue whipping until stiff peaks form.
  6. Spoon the Malibu frosting atop your blended drink.
  7. Garnish with fresh strawberries and serve immediately.

Notes

For a non-alcoholic version, omit the Malibu rum. You can also use full-fat coconut milk for a lighter texture.
