Sweet Strawberry Cheesecake Quesadilla Delight

A delightful fusion of crispy tortillas and creamy strawberry cheesecake filling, perfect for a quick dessert or snack.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Cream Cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 cup Strawberries, diced
  • 4 Tortillas, 6 inches in diameter
  • 2 tbsp Butter, softened
  • 1 tsp Sugar mixed with 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • Strawberry sauce for dipping

Instructions

  1. Add the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract into a mixing bowl and beat until smooth.
  2. Dice the strawberries into small pieces and fold into the cream cheese mixture.
  3. Spread half of the mixture over one tortilla evenly.
  4. Melt 1 teaspoon of butter in a pan over medium-high heat and place the tortilla cream cheese side up.
  5. Spread 1 teaspoon of butter on another tortilla and place it butter-side up on top of the cream cheese mixture.
  6. Cook both sides for 2-3 minutes until golden brown, flipping carefully.
  7. Mix the remaining cinnamon and sugar and sprinkle on top of the finished quesadilla while still warm.
  8. Repeat the process to make another quesadilla.
  9. Let them cool for 2 minutes, then slice into wedges.
  10. Serve with warm strawberry sauce for dipping.

Notes

For best results, ensure cream cheese is softened. Try adding chopped nuts or a drizzle of chocolate sauce for variation.
