An indulgent treat that combines the fudgy texture of brownies with a loaf-like quality, perfect for breakfast or dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup hot fudge sauce
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare your loaf pan by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs until lightly frothy, then add the melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract. Mix until creamy.
  4. Gently fold the wet mixture into the dry ingredients using a rubber spatula, being careful not to overmix.
  5. Stir in the hot fudge sauce and chocolate chips for an extra layer of chocolate joy.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  7. Place the pan in the oven and bake for about 45-50 minutes. Check for doneness with a toothpick.
  8. Once baked, let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.

Notes

For best results, ensure ingredients are at room temperature and use parchment paper for easy release.
