A tender layered cake combining creamy white chocolate and vibrant raspberries, perfect for celebrations.

  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 oz white chocolate, melted
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare two 9-inch round cake pans by greasing and flouring them.
  3. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Add softened butter, then pour in milk, crack in eggs, and drizzle vanilla extract.
  5. Mix until smooth.
  6. Melt white chocolate and stir it into the batter.
  7. Divide the batter evenly between the cake pans.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Whip together heavy cream, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
  10. Frost the first layer with whipped cream and add raspberries before placing the second layer on top.
  11. Cover the entire cake with whipped cream and decorate with raspberries and melted white chocolate.
